Project Gallery

The project galleries use Microsoft PhotoSynth to allow images to be stitched in a 3D environment. It can take a bit to work it out... but it is worth exploring the examples shown here and the Mt Eden Prison Excavations.

The models are by Simon Bickler but some photos from Mt Eden Prison are by Ben Thorne and Rod Clough (who did the Wall won on the second gallery as well). The photos are from older projects so it is a great way of bringing these back into focus.

What is fun about this one is that you can see some of the same parts of the site at different times during the excavation. You have to have enough features that stay throughout to stich files together.
